(Allegan, MI - WHTC News) - Allegan County is in line for over 175 thousand dollars in federal stimulus funds for dispatch software, facility energy improvements, and operating assistance with its on-demand transit system, including the Interurban Transit Authority. The money is part of 12.4 million dollars allocated statewide to assist non-urban transit agencies and rural intercity bus service, and is the second and final phase of a 25 million-dollar effort.
